Museum of Communication - Berlin

Considered as a place of exchanges, encounters and information, the Museum of Communication goes into great detail about the uses of signs, codes, and media in the world of communications by exhibiting an extensive collection of historical objects from both public and private owners.

The building itself is a former post office which was constructed in 1972. It was badly damaged in the war, but was fully restored and has been a 'listed building' since 1977.

The museum is closed on Mondays, but opens Tuesday to Sunday from 9am to 6pm. Nice and cheap, admission is €4, with a reduced rate of €2 for students, children and seniors.
