Soho House Berlin - Berlin
The building opened in 1928 as a department store, before being seized by the wartime government and then the post-war Communist government. It was used to store Communist Party archives until being returned to its rightful owners upon German reunification.
Today, Soho House is fantastically well equipped, boasting a spa, gym, rooftop swimming pool, restaurants, cinema room, 65 hotel rooms, 20 serviced apartments and 4 loft penthouses. Easy to get to from Alexanderplatz, you can't miss this fabulous corner building on Torstraße.
These apartments have a very 'gentlemens club' type of feel to them. If you like leather couches, good whistkey and decor swimming in history, this place is perfect for you. The in-house bar promotes itself as a place for bartenders and bar lovers, as they draw in experiences from branches in London, New York, Hollywood, and Miami to create cocktails unique to the city.
Two adults can stay for one night for €190, a price which also includes breakfast.
