Berggruen Museum - Berlin

Overview

The collection housed in the Berggruen Museum, was sold to the city of Berlin for a price way below its actual value when its previous owner, Heinz Berggruen, returned to his native city after six decades in exile.

Famous artists who have works in the collection include Pablo Picasso, Alberto Giacometti, Georges Braque, Paul Klee and Henri Matisse, so this makes it a great place to see work from all these artists in one visit.

On public transport, the museum can be easily reached by S-Bahn, U-Bahn, and by bus. The site is closed on Mondays, and is open Tuesday to Sunday between 10am and 6pm.

Entrance tickets cost €10, with a reduced rate for children and seniors. An annual pass can be bought for €25. The museum includes a shop, bookstore and café.
