Museum of Photography - Berlin
With more than one million visitors in the last 4 years, the Museum of Photography is a major Berlin attraction.
The Helmut Newton Foundation and the Kunstbibliothek's Collection of Photography both have permanent exhibitions here, with over 2000 sqm of space combined. Since an extensive renovation that was completed in 2010, the buildings upper floors also now hosts rotating exhibitions focussing on all kinds of photography ranging from the 19th to the 21st Century.
The museum has excellent public transport connections, with U-Bahn, S-Bahn and Bus stops nearby. The site is open Tuesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm. It is closed on Mondays. Tickets are available for €10.
