Berlin Sightseeing

Sightseeing is a great way to get an understanding of Berlin whilst you are visiting the city, most places have information in German and in English and best of all you can do it on a budget. 

Many of the open-air monuments, memorials, parks and gardens are free like the Brandenburger Tor, The Memorial to The Murdered Jews of Europe, even the Reichstagsgebäude (German parliament building). Museum Island

The UNESCO heritage listed Museumsinsel is home to five museums housing an amazing array of art and artifacts as well as the Lustgarten and the Berliner Dom and is a must see for visitors to Berlin.

Berliner Dom

The Berliner Dom on Museum Island is Berlin's largest church. In addition to regular church services, they also hold concerts and events and you can climb the dome for a great view over Berlin.
